No matter where you are starting from, moving toward God means moving upward. Psalm 126 tells the story of a people who experienced captivity, then unexpected restoration, and responded with overwhelming joy. That same God who restored Israel is ready to restore what feels dry or distant in your life today. Joy is not rooted in circumstances but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. When your heart turns back toward Him, something begins to shift. A burden for others grows, the gospel goes out, and a harvest follows. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed, will return with songs of joy.
