BAPTISM AT THE RIVER
Saturday, June 27th at 5:30pm
Join us for Worship at the River on Saturday, June 27 at 5:30pm along the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville. It will be a special evening of worship, a message, and a water baptism celebration. If you’ve been thinking about taking that next step in your faith, we’d love for you to sign up to be baptized at the link below. Kids must be at least 7 years old to be baptized. If kids are 12 and under, a guardian must accompany them in the river. Please note that childcare will not be provided.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR WORSHIP AT THE RIVER?
When should I get to the river? Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the service you are getting baptized in. Once at our church, head to the INFO Center to meet one of our Serve Team members who will help direct you to the correct place.
What should I wear? We will provide a t-shirt. Wear dark colored shorts (no skirts). Some type of water shoes. We will have a place for you to change on sight.
What to bring: Towel, change of clothes, a bag to put wet clothes in.
When will baptisms happen? Service will start at 5:30pm. We will have worship and a message. Baptisms will happen after the message. If you need to change clothes, we will have a changing station where you can change clothes after the message, before getting baptized.
After you have been baptized: There will be a small, closed-off area area where you can change.
