 KIDS MINISTRY AT WRIGHTSVILLE AG

Our KIDs ministry exists to team up with parents to lead children into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Wrightsville Assembly of God our kids (infant - 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Here's what to expect when visiting KIDs Church for the first time:

NURSERY (6 weeks - 2 years) | Our nursery classes are in clearly marked rooms located on the main level. We believe in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members. When you arrived, you will sign your kids in to their class (we have a class for 6 week - 12 months and a class for 1 - 2 years). While you enjoy the adult service, you can rest assured that your babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our qualified volunteers create a positive church experience that introduces infants and toddlers to a love for Jesus early in life.

PRESCHOOL (ages 3-5) | Preschoolers love to learn, which is why our preschool classroom, located on the 2nd floor, provides interactive learning experiences that help your kids fall in love with the Bible. We use colorful illustrations, interactive lessons and activities to help kids remember what they learn. When you arrive, you will check your child in to our computer system with one of our KIDs volunteers.

 

KIDs CHURCH (K-6th grade) | KIDs Church is located on the 2nd floor. It combines high energy activities with
Bible-based teachings for our boys and girls. Using both large and small groups, kids are able to connect with friends and engage with leaders, all in a life-giving atmosphere. With a combination of games, attention-grabbing Bible lessons and fun-filled songs, KIDs Church shows that living for God is the best thing out there! When you arrive, you will check your child in to our computer system with one of our KIDs volunteers.

 

KIDS CLUB (K-6th grade)

Wednesdays 7pm - 8pm. It will be a fun evening with games, crafts, a Bible lesson, and a snack. All kids will need to be checked-in and picked up upstairs by an adult. There is no preregistration.

ROYAL RANGERS (Boys K-5th grade)

Thursdays 7pm - 8pm starting October 7.

BIBLE ADVENTURE (3rd-5th grade) 

This is a Bible Club offered to Wrightsville Elementary students during school hours on Wednesdays throughout the school year. Students must be registered to attend. To register your students, contact us.

HOW CHECK-IN WORKS

At Wrightsville AG, we place a priority on your child's safety and security. Each time your Preschool and/or KIDs Church aged kid attends, they will need to be checked in to our KIDs Church.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)

  • Child's name

  • Child's birth date

  • Child's grade

  • Phone number

  • Home address

  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Once your information is in the system, check-in is a quick, one step process.

Before Service

Our Preschool Class and KIDs Church classes are located on the 2nd floor. When you arrive upstairs, you can check your kids in with a volunteer in the KIDs Church lobby. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

AFTER SERVICE

After the service is complete, you will return to your child's room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
